    Thumbs up

NO thanks! If it were the 1933, or 1976 Kong, I would be ALL over it, but no mini CGI sucky monkey for me.

Don't hate the monkey because there's CGI involved!!!!!

Actually.... they MOTION CAPTURED most of the gorilla's movements. I've seen video of the guy who did Gollum from lord of the rings wearing longer hands (to run on) with motion capture dots all over his body.

They also motion captured his face to get his emotional responses and had him "act" along with Naomi Watts while she stood on the soundstage and he was up on a scaffolding (for the eyeline)

If anything... the SKIN and FUR are CGI, but Kong himself will be closer to a real actor than any of the previous Kongs.

I love the 1933 version... was less than impressed by the 1976... and am holding my breath that PJ won't muck this one up (remember, I'm one of the few that was underwhelmed by LotR.)

Saw an interview with Adrian Brody and he said beeing able to work with Andy ''Gollum'' Serkis was incredible. It was actually acting for real instead of trying to react to nothing in front of a green screen.

I'm sure PJ did an awesome job and I can'T wait to see this 3 hours masterpiece

    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hahahahaha! Yeah, because a stop-motion model would really look good by today's standards.

I would prefer no remake at all. But hell, I would rather have a sock puppet Kong than CGI shitola.
